| I have never really tended to the situation much. But I cant stand it anymore. I believe it may be due to a faulty Fuel Presser Regulator or Damper or even both. But to start my Z I can not just simply get in it and start it. I have to put the key into the ignition and turn it to ACC and let the fuel pump prime and when I hear a click and the noise goes away my Z can start up just fine. But on several occasions I have had a time where, although I let the fuel pump prime and wait for the click, the car was hesitant to fire up. And twice so far I have had it make a loud cranking noise. I guess its the motor turning and firing, but receiving no fuel. On a side note, when I turn the car off I hear a noise from under the hood. Like a Vacuum leak, a PSSHHH sound if you will. Only when I turn the car off. I assume that's my car reliving of all the fuel pressure? Normally after about 30 mins I can not fire my car right back up. I have to put the key in ACC and wait for the click. Wondering if anyone can confirm my idea or if someone may know that its another problem. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you.
